PENS - are 2-1 against the Rangers this season and have won three of the last five clashes.

CAPS - The Carolina Hurricanes try to halt a seven-game losing streak tonight when they welcome the Southeast Division-leading Washington Capitals to RBC Center.

The reigning Eastern Conference champs are 1-12-1-3 in their last 17 overall, and their almost certain fate of not making the playoffs was sealed with an 0-3-0-2 road trip.

The Hurricanes, who have lost eight of their last nine at home, will visit Philadelphia on Saturday. Washington, meanwhile, is 4-2 in its last six

Each game of the current road trip pits the Capitals against a fellow member of the Southeast Division. They are 11-2-1 against divisional foes after Wednesday's rout. Washington, 4-1-4-1 in its last 10 road games, will visit Florida on Saturday.

Washington is 3-0 against Carolina this season, and 5-0-2 in the last seven clashes. The Caps are 3-0-1 in their last four trips to Raleigh.

THRASH - Atlanta and Tampa Bay have split two meetings this season, both down in Tampa. The home club is 4-1-2 in the last seven meetings.

WILD - Phoenix has dropped three straight on the road and is 10-13-2-3 on opposition ice this season.

The Wild have taken two of three from the Coyotes this season and are 2-0-1 in the last three matchups in Minnesota against Phoenix.

Dallas - has won three straight to improve to 15-1-4 in its last 20 games.

The Stars, who are in first place in the Pacific Division and currently lead the Western Conference with 79 points (33-11-12-1), are unbeaten in their last five home games (4-0-1) and are 20-2-4-1 this season in their arena.

Dallas, which is unbeaten in three meetings with the Ducks this season (2-0-1), is 10-4-2 in its last 16 matchups with Anaheim. The Stars have also won five of their last seven against the Ducks in the Lone Star State.

If the line drops any more I will probably hedge and take guarenteed money- I played it strictly because the line was out of wack- I could get Dallas at -200 or -1/2 -150 to hedge-

I would have not made this play in the first place if Turco was in net-

good luck tonight-
