Two two goal leads blown by BOST and DAL to screw me out of a great nite! DAL was up 3-1 and BOST had a two goal lead at one pt also. BOTH go to OT... I had BOS on m/l so a push would have been fine, but no... give the PP and the goal up why don't ya? Then the DAL game I couldn't get the goal I needed to cover the puck line... my whole nite swung on those two plays.

Trying something a little different.... I'm gonna play a RR parlay with OTT/VANC/ PHILA on the puck line, hoping for a sweep but not getting hurt bad if I win at least two. I figure laying the juice on all three, I can win 2 of 3 and break even, but max return is 3 units. Playing a RR PAR and sweeping nets me about 4 units. So that's the way I'm doing it! NOW let's sweep these three!

This is it... only playing the PAR with VANC, although they look very solid. Was contemplating the OVER, but CHI may get shut out they way ther are playing.

CALG gets MONT in a good spot here I feel, and they've been doing a good job at home recently, not giving up many shots, and MONT has been taking very few, but giving up a ton. I don't like CALG offense, but if they can get 35-40 shots like MONT has been giving up, well, I think they can hit the net at least twice. 2 goals in my opinion will get you at least a tie here, so I'm on the Under also.

Gonna go against the board a little here and stay with the OILERS. I like the way their offense is playing and what could turn out to be high scoring game, I'm sticking with the home OILERS.

AVE's and RANGERS both have substantial injuries, that should effect the offense on both sides. AVE's most recent games at home have featured excellent defense, and I'm looking for that to continue tonite. AVE's should win this one, but not alot of goals.
2-1 AVE's is my prediction... maybe 3-1 tops! I hope!

8-4 counting parlays +1.70 Units....

I figured my pars at 1 unit each, not 1/2, that's why I thought I was winning 4 units by sweeping... oh well, I only counted 2 Units towards my figure since that's what I posted.

After all was said and done, I realized I was not that excited about the GRAND SALAMI.... with 9 games on the board, we had to average over 5 goals a game for the whole card, and although I did have some games I liked to go over, I liked some of the late ones to be lower scoring and I should have done more work before posting a DOUBLE on the GS. I did like most of the early games OVER... but even with them hitting, I needed too much help later... too big a number to overcome. The nite wasn't a total loss though. The 3 BIG FAVS hit for the BOARD, I know alot of people were on them and that was good! I played em at 1 Unit each, not a half, so it made for a nice payoff when VANC scored in OT!!! :moon: I don't know why I posted 1/2 Unit thinking it would pay 4, oh well... it worked out fine. Sad part is, I hit 8-4 and only profited 1.7 Units, but if you check the NBA HT THREAD, I did pretty well over there.... and I tailed beertime on the FH plays and he went 2-0! Two perfect nites in a row for the beertime guy!! CONGRATS!

I almost forgot... tailed SIXTH SENSE in COLLEGE FB and took So Miss tonite too... thanks SS for another well written insight!

Anyway, it was like 8-9 Units overall made tonite... I'll take it!
