Edmonton at BOSTON
BRUINS seem to be the major consensus play tonite, hopefully the are the MAJOR PAY for MJ's tonite too!

Seem everyone is on BOSTON, which is scary, but the stats and situation definitely points to all BOSTON in this one... hopefully it's a BOSTON MASSACRE tonite and the OILERS don't pull anything slick!

(pun intended...) EDM and BOS are both scoring well right now, and with CONKLIN on B/B, gotta think the BRUINS get at least 4 tonite.
Columbus at MONTREAL
BLUEJAYS are winless on the road so far this year and MONT hasn't been dominant at home, so this may be a good spot for COLUMBUS to pull off that first road win. BLUEJAYS have faced some pretty good teams on the road so far contributing to their 0-6 road start, but are coming off two straight home wins. I was leaning to playing MONT at first, but after reviewing the game some more, I am going to pass on this one. If GARON starts for MONT, COL and OVER may be worth a look-see!
NYI at PHILADELPHIA
Two good teams match up tonite and something has to give. NYI 4-0-1 last five vs PHIL, PHIL 4-0-2 at home, lots of stats/trends in favor of both sides. Originally I said I was looking at playing Under in this one, but NYI are averaging 2.6 gpg on the road, PHIL is at 3.8 gpg at home, and PHIL has scored at least 4 times in their last 4 at home. The last two meetings both ended Under, but that was last season. If NYI win, I believe it's an Under, if PHILA wins, it's OVER. So... I'm passing for now, may try a combined parlay on this one.
Ottawa at ATLANTA
SENATORS are struggling big time, but could explode at any time, could very well be tonite. However, I'm not backing them on the road as a favorite when they're winless in last five!

I am seriously considering the THRASHERS in this one, but am definitely on the OVER. IF OTT breaks out as expected, this game will hit 7 goals minimum.
Tampa Bay at FLORIDA
Well, well... the ole rally around the new coach play! Actually, I think this is more of a "let's play our ass off and save our jobs" play than anything. GM Dudley takes over coaching the team and since he determines if you keep your job, well we just may see a helluva effort from this Panthers team tonite. I'm playing it that way as I think taking the FLA and UNDER is at worst a split, but wouldn't mind a 2-2 tie!
Vancouver at MINNY
Vancouver still playing great, very hard to go against them, but WILD are 3-0 this year in revenge type games and SAT's slugfest left a bad taste (and alot of blood!) in the mouths of MINNY players. Tonite's matchup should be another slugfest with the WILD sending VANC a message. I think it'll be a WILD game, a WILD win, and a WILD time tonite in MINNY! This game should be at six goals by the end of two...
Colorado at SAN JOSE
Hard not to like COLO the way they are playing. AV's own the SHARKS (9-1 last ten) also which makes it twice as tempting. The only thing with SAN JOSE is the tendency to play for ties. They have 6 already after only 15 games, a very strange 40% of the time. Add in their 3 wins, and they have cashed 9 times at +1/2 goal. San Jose also just finished a grueling 7 game road trip and are probably ready to play at home. So far, home hasn't been sweet for the SHARKS as they are 0-2-3 there so far. I'm probably gonna add a play on this one later, but for now it's just a lean to COLO.
Here's the plays so far:
BOS -1/2 -150 ** DOUBLE PLAY **
BOS OVER 5.5
OTT OVER 5.5 +105
FLA +115
FLA Under 5 -135
WILD OVER 5 -125
WILD +1/2 -125 ** DOUBLE PLAY **
