Boston Herald has long piece on Dafoe today, talking about how confident he is about his health, feeling fine after his first back to back starts this season. Boston doesn't play again until tues, he's had a day of rest, so my strong guess is he's in.
WA is miserable on the road, and missing now "a fair chunk of defensive part of team" as Post sez. They gotta be looking toward the next three games they have, all at home. Five of next 8 at home.
Last time Witt was out, Jan 1 at home, WA played defense in big way to compensate against NYI and game went under.

My poor Caps. No way they make the playoffs at this point. Too many injuries, no defense, inadequate goaltending and can't win on the road no matter who they play. 3-1 just halfway through the first and getting outshot nearly 4 to 1. Jeez. Painful for me to watch this one.

I thought about that as well Sam, the only thing is that these two tams tend to play tight games over the years. My number have it right at 5.
