Holly Cow...I just get home..look at my post from yesterday and see 24 responses..uh oh....
gamblinghog...sorry for the losses... but no need to be disrespectful.....I don't mind anyone being a critic about my wins and losses...it's how you say or post it...I don't want you banned...just act with some respect....your post is more about you then me...do I lose games...hell ya...did I lose these last 2 days..hell ya...will I lose more..hell ya...capping is a tough job.Nobody has any guarantee's doing this..or none of us would be here...I know I would be in the caymans,sitting on a beach..drinking a Corona...anyway be nice..to much negative stuff going on around the world..I see it everyday in school...I'll give you 1 day in ISS...or maybe a detention...I'm sure your a good person down deep...and I am sorry if you lost because you followed me...I'll try to do better..

Niagara -3 over Rider *
tough game...Purple just lost to Liberty in an unreal ending..Purple was up 78-74 with 20 seconds left..loose ball..NU fouls..Mihalich gets 2 techs and ejected with 8 seconds left..Libery shoots 6 FT's in a row and wins..wow..
Purple with Fisher are tough.But Rider has 6'10 Thompson who is a force,his brother and Hansell a good gd. Small play on Niagara...Rider is capable of beating NU...They beat Penn St and played kansas st and NC St even for awhile.

Box..I'm a teacher and coach too. It's nice of you to write what you did about GamblingHog..but the truth is he knew what he was doing was not nice...and he did it anyway. I've disagreed with a couple of your plays but I don't write it like a jerk...it's a discussion...thats why we are here. Please don't waste your time thinking about this character...some people have had their chance to be taught and don't want to listen.

I don't know much about these games...but I do like that Niagara might be hungry and I think Joe Mahalich is an underated coach (and a hell of a nice guy). Suprised he lost his cool like that last game, but his players love and respect him and they will probably come out fired up. I'm going to follow you on this one.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments in this post and yesterdays....you guys are great...
Coolgi24..Mihalich is a great guy..I know him very well.He was a great recruiter at Lasalle under Speedy Morris...was after two of my kids way back.He is loved big time at NU.In 1995 I was named the NY State HS Coach of the Year....Mihalich wrote one of the nicest letters congradulating me...and the letter ends with something like...."Im still intrested in your player"..pretty funny...Speedy was even greater..talk about two characters....
By the way Fisher hit 8 tre's tonite vs Rider...in there win..Think that pre-season Pl of the yr to Thompson could be in jeopardy..Fisher is going for it...thanks again for the nice comments..

Good story about Mihalich, Box. I crossed paths with him a few times when I was at Hofstra. Our top assistant at the time (Perotta, who is now the head at Canisius) spoke very highly of him and thought I should persue a job there when one opened...I couldn't bring myself to move up there and looking back on it, I'm glad I made that decision. Coaching college is absolutely nuts...Placing your future and family in the hands of 19 year olds...Crazy.

Anyway...nice job tonight.
