Georgia To me it sounds like this is really bothering you. When i suck at something there is only two things to do. Research and practice. I know you said you have limited time to practice but it looks like if you are gonna conquer this you better find more time. All i was trying to say. Hopefully it works out for you. Sorry if it came off a little to strong.

It does bother me because I cant enjoy a round of golf when I am striking it well and running thwe score up on the greens. I am not getting angry at you or the computer if that is what you mean. I do need to practice more that is a given but I also needed some diofferent things to practice and that is what I have gotten thanks to some of you guys.

Thanks Glferboy21 good advice . I am swinging it wed, I am going to show up an hour early and work on some of these things will report in then.

Thanks Guys

Don't let your Players introduce "The Snake" into your gambling. Last Man to three putt on each side owes everyone a dollar.

This did improve my putting. it is always fun to hear "Stay on" next to my "Get Off"

Just to update and and maybe help any other awful putters out there I have gone to the claw grip and have had very good results. I am much more consistant and do not 3 putt from inside 25 feet much at all. The down side is that I feel it is harder to judge speed using the claw on long putts. In my situation however I could not judge speed from long range anyway so it has not hurt me. Anyone struggling as bad as I was (especially from inside 25 feet) should give it a try. Thanks agin guys

Make sure your putter blade is square to your line. Many golfers just place their putter behind the ball, make a couple of practice motions, then strike the putt with an open face. When they miss, they say "I pushed it!" Oh, Really?

Last but not least...practice ACCELERATING your putter through the ball. Developing a feel for the right impact to move the ball the required distance is not easy. It takes much practice.

The "energy" of the putt is dependent upon the "impetus" that starts the ball a-rollin'.

Think accleration, impetus, momentum.

That makes THREE people that I have helped with the claw grip:00hour

Funny thing my Dad were talking about yesterday; all the guys that are considered the best putters, do not use belly putters, long putters, claw grips, etc, these guys have all given in to trying to use gimmicks or they never would have switched from a conventional way:scared

GL UGA in shaving strokes off your game, there is nothing more frustrating than playing solid golf from tee to green and not being able to use the shortest club and get it in the hole!
