I have internet thru the cable company here,very happy with it but I am moving out to the country and it is NOT available there,do I have to get dial up thru the phone line now,I enjoy watching movies and playing poker,can you still do that with dial up and what is the best company to go with,any imput will be helpful,ps I move tomorrow

I think you're going to be very disappointed.
I think you can get dsl which would be better than dialup.

I just checked the price of internet thru satelite,wow 79 a month plus 300 in equipment to buy,checking into dsl now
well,I have no idea what to do,I can't find a provider for dsl,I guess I will go meet the neighbors and ask them what they do for internet access
I don't know if you're moving to or from Tyler, but I live in a rural area of E. TX and DSL is readily available through Consolidated (the phone company).
Do NOT ask them if you can play poker through their service!
