Anthony you are asking an almost impossible question. If it was me i would start with the NFL or the MLB playoffs. One of the top guys i know was getting hit so bad he was laying off for the first time in his life a couple of years back. You can't predict if guys are gonna go on a run or shit there pants. If you are serious you have to find a place to lay off some of the money if you start to fall in trouble. Then you have to worry about the money you laid off, if you can collect it to pay the big man. You should have limits with every guy and when they reach a certain limit with loses they have to pay and never fall for the one guy who says "you know im good for it". Then you have to worry if you get guys like YYZ who will call and say give me the spurs for a hundred. When he wins he will say "hey man i said four hundred not "for a hundred." When it comes to booking some guys will do anything to try to get out of paying. And for goodness sakes have someone that knows how to add because some of these bookmakers crack a guy up. If i wasn't honest i could probably have an extra 50 grand in mistakes in my pocket.

Sponge,
If one uses a PPH shop, all the mistakes would be eliminated right. It seems like PPH's are no brainers.

If you want to make a lot of money here is what you look for with your customer base.
1. Grown men who wear team jerseys, jackets, rings, belt buckles, beanies etc.. two or three times a week. A special party is an exception
2. Grown men who's thought process comes from everything they hear on ESPN or sports talk radio.
3. People who watch the ticker from ESPN not knowing its not for their best interest.
4. People who can't talent evaluate to save their lives.
5. All the above with rich parents is a nice bonus.
I can give you about 50 more but im watching the game.
Sponge,
That's them. Every last one of them...

Hey TheBoundBook,
If you had say 25 players at 200-300 a game avg, what type of reserves would you need to stay in business and not get crushed if the local Joe's go on a streak when you start out.
