I need some help.
I have been betting quite a few NBA games, but I simply don't have the time to watch them all or follow the live action. To be more precise, I have bet the Miami Heat in a couple of games recently and have been STUNNED at the final scores of these games. The Heat routinely play the lowest totals in basketball. The rarely score many points, but then don't give up many point either. Riley is known for pressure defense. So -- I lost a total last week when the shockingly bad Grizzlies put up 110 on this bumch (in Miami!). Next I see that Miami and Houston roll up 205 points. Okay, it went into OT, but that's crushing the total (175). Can someone who has WATCHED these Heat games tell me wht in the hell is going on? Have the Heat basically said, "phuck it -- we can't win the old way, so let's open up the offense?" What else would explain these Heat games destroying the totals? I have not found anything in the media to suggest a change in strategy for the Heat (Riley made some great comments about horrible officiating -- which I applaud). Can someone who has watched these games give me some insight? If the Heat are REVOLUTIONIZING their offensive and defensive schemes -- we might be able to jump on the OVERs and cash in before the public gets wise. Or, is what I'm suggesting merely an aberration? Memphis -- 110 points? In Miami? Someone please educate me.
