Why are we daily seeing video of anti-American arabs waving guns and shooting into the air? How do the news reporters get this close and our military can not? Surely there is some policy that if you have a gun you will be shot/blown up. Is that not how we are working over there? How can the reporters continually get so close?? All these guys waving guns should be dead. Maybe the military should start posing as reporters or better yet, have their cameras fitted with a laser guiding apparatus.

Clint they get the footage from Arab networks often. --and the reverse if you go to Algeezera Network you will articles and quotes from New York Times there daily. I counted 3 on there this morning. They work together for common cause:(

I can remember when the American press and media use to be viewed and respected as the greatest news reporting organizations in the world, now they are reduced to reporting in a way that most benefits their agendas, which has become the liberal left elitists propaganda.

What a waste of power and resources:nono:

I think they should tell both sides. We open one new school today. There were two car bombings 11 were killed and 38 were injured. They turn power on for a sector of Bagdad. But 1 hour later it went back down. Two hits on the oil pipe line have shut the flow off. We open another new school. However the techers are not inplace at this time. The governing council states they get Saddam to put on trial. Bush says no such deal in place. Another bomb blasts Bagdad number of injured not known. Theres two days of fair and balanced.

The last 2 posts are examples of the narrowminded way those on the left view how news is reported.

MC you don't think the Bristish press gives both sides or Canadian press or Australian on and on or at least have the ability to, no you just make a statement like we have the only one that could but doesn't:nono:

Most of it is about propaganda and agendas. Not just the left either. Hell one of the Washington DC's papers is owned by Rev. Moon no less who plays on the right side of the fence. Howard Dean railed against the Media Conglomerates and talked about breaking them up. Look what the Media did to him. Who is calling who narrowminded.

Anyone with any intelligience that doesn't know the big 4 abc, nbc, cbs and cnn lean to the left are in denial or can't see both sides of an issue.

What the hell do you think the big uproar about Fox has been, nothing more than the elitist left media finally being challenged after 40 years.

It doesn't take a mental giant to realize what is going on in the reporting from Irag.

Sure they pander to democrats. But they are STILL big business and I have said before anything that is for profit like that is never really that left. A left leaning paper like the LA Times is actually very anti-union. I get my news of the internet anyway. I personally take everything with a grain of salt, left or right.
Six Five, because they ARE reporters. One thing about Arabs, don't the idiots realize when they shoot up in the air the stuff comes down?

JT one thing for sure you wont find to much big business in the Dems side. And you are correct big business runs the air waves.
It would just be nice if they all could stay alittle more middle of the. But they would go broke. Sure there are nice things happening in Iraq. But the bad still out weighs them. Until the place turns around what do you think you will here. Even fox has starte to admitt theres not alot of great stories to tell. Yes about our men and woman. But the story is not about them as much as before. Iraq has turned into a terroist camp. Daily killing and bombing. What gets attention. Im sorry your not going to here much about a new daycare center, or new school. Or a hospital that re-opened. I believe many feal these think should be up and running.

The right is so far out of control that anything to the middle is viewed as being to the left. If they see any good news they can stop whining and start reporting tit. Let them report all the news that is so good that it overshadows the death of one American soldier.

I think it's funny that you guys on the left claim to be centrists. I like u Stevied, and u add a ton to the forum, but c'mon! U didn't actually say that here, but from your previous posts, I have gathered that.

It all depends on which side your convictions are on to which sources you deem credible.--and seems bought 50/50 population wise.

In a perfect world we could split the U.S. in half with liberals on one side and conservatives on the other--and neither could cross the line and each would HAVE to live by their convictions.

Wouldn't it be nice:)

I can just see Edward trying to tunnel under to get some cheese:lol:
