I'm just curious why it seems so many people are playing this game. Is it just because you feel the need to bet on MNF? Why not pass on this game that is so fraught with emotion that it is impossible to determine the outcome? On a normal day Atlanta would probably dominate this game, but how can you risk money on a game that has so much drama surronding it? Just my two cents.

I think you could probably say this about most monday night games. for the most part all the MNF have some kind of history behind them, whether it be rivarly games, or playoff rematches or top tier teams. for the most part, you are not going to see teams like the Lions, browns, cardinals on MNF.

As for why people are betting on it, probably 1 of 2 reasons
1) It is the only game on, you are probably going to watch it and this gives you something to entertain you (This is why I am on it)
2) you took a lot of favorites yesterday, got your arse handed to you, are are trying to recoup some of your loss

I don't have any stats to prove this, but I bet Sunday night football and MNF have more bets on it than any other game that weekend

Snoozer, I agree with your reasoning about why people are on it. You are right about SNF and MNF having the most action. I just think there are much easier spots to put money on the line than an emotional homecoming the likes of which has never been seen before.

If you can find VALUE in a game then bet it. I wont bet for action anymore, winning action bets is fun but if you cant find value then whats the point? I see value in tonights game. If you dont then dont bet.
