I have read and seen stories on the news
That there is a massive influx of cash and
Investment into Detroit ?

Trying to revitalize the city.
20+ years ago in Henderson,NV the same had occurred
Granted 2 totally different situations, whereas Henderson was rebuilt on local, Ca, Az, Ut and Id investors. Where and who are the big players in Detroit?

It must suck to see such an economic powerhouse crash as hard as your city

Here in Northern NV, Reno is a ghost town

Sorry you have to live in such a filthy city. Must suck to see such decay violence every day.

Doughboy...he lives in a beautiful upscale city outside of Detroit. Would bet 100-1 it's nicer than the sticks of Kentucky where you reside.

If you hadn't noticed Joker follows me around poking fun at me in Joker's way. But, because I'm a firm believer of pay back I will get even in good time. I have a master plan at work. And it's a doozy.

Not following Jokers lead
I'm sure that outside of most economic wastelands there are Burbs that have managed to survive.

My question was solely based on my curiosity not to kick a dead horse.

The neighborhood I lived in 16 years ago looks like shit. Reno NV has suffered as well

I now live 30 miles from Reno and the ranch is 90 mins away

I go into the city once a month to either see the Tigers, visit an art neighbood district called the Heidleberg Project go to one of our many theaters or have dinner. We also have 3 very nice casinos with great restaurants and numerous shops. Downtown is jumping, lots to do and very safe. It's the outskirts of the downtown area that are not safe, like many major cities. The burbs are great, safe and thriving.
