Can anyone tell me why the LA game total is only 7.5? Both pitchers have a fairly high ERA in the last 3, the BP's look to have a ERA's that aren't that great, and the HP ump has a pretty narrow strike zone.

This looks to easy. Any thoughts?

Thanks & GL

I agree that at first glance this looks like an easy over play when you look at the pitching ERAs.

After looking at the ERAs then the line it looks like a sucker bet all the way. I am saying to myself 7.5 what the hell look at this ump and these ERAs. I start to think about the under just b/c I know they don't make a habit of giving away the $.

I you take a deeper look at the home games at LA before last night they had 7 straight games that were 7 runs or less so it looks like this line might be about right.

no expert here, but i'd say it's that low based on past performance, LA und 14-4 last 18, cubs hitting .198 against lefties on the year and .148 against lefties last 10 games--i agree it looks a little low especially considering each team got a look at the starter last week- good luck!:)
