Question - Mets/Phillies Game

Did not get to see the end of the game ...


It looks like the Mets had men on 1st and 2nd and no one out with Castillo up to bat?

Why was there not a bunt?

Strange? Gave us a 7-8 day instead of 11-5.

Oh well,


week 1 was a great success

week 2 was horrific

week 3 was good with a nice run of 32-16 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ... plus, the big plays killed the man this weekend

see everybody on Monday ...

Mets ninth. Lidge pitching. Ruiz in as catcher. Easley pinch-hitting for Smith. Easley walked on a full count. Jose Reyes infield single to second, Easley to second. Castillo struck out. Wright fouled out to first baseman Howard. Beltran grounded out, shortstop Bruntlett to first baseman Howard.

Castillo tried to bunt twice and fouled both times then struck out with a half ass swing.
