Question on Over/Under

I read in someones post a few weeks ago, about the totals. If the first two games go over or under the total flip it for the last game. Anyone remeber this? If you do was there a win lose percentage.

Ummm..

Under is 12-3-1 cubs last 16 at home
9-1 Under when wind is (0-10mph) .. currently 6 according to vegasinsider.

Wood is 1-0 1.29 era against mets
Reed is 1-3 2.91 era against cubs

Billy,

I was the one who posted this topic, however it is still just a THEORY. I am working here and there to go back and track actually past stats to verify this, since it seemed that this would happen more often then not. Since I mentioned it here in this forum though it has not done so well.

I usually use this "theory" as a starting point to try and uncover a possible edge.

Two other games fall under "theory" today:

Bos/TB first 2 over (**Not a theory - 4 game series)
Mon/Fla first 2 under

As of now I do not have any opinion on these games, except the side of Mon.

Lastly I usually stay away from totals in Wrigley and Coors. These 2 parks stand in a 'world' of their own.

I would think if two teams went over in the first two games, and you didn't have one of the top two pitchers playing for either team on the third day, you would take the over.

If both teams don't keep hitting the ball, at least one of them should.

Just an opinion.....
