A question for the smart guys on this site. Hey I think I have this right but just wondering if someone else has looked at this.

For the past 7 or 8 years i have been looking at all the bowl games played. I have found out if you bet every bowl game and take the underdog everytime you go between 75- 81 %. Anyone else ever look at that?

Just wondering. :toast:

You should probably go back and actually look at the games and the results. No way dogs have it at that high of a percentage. In the old days you could take the dogs up till NewYears Day and then take all favorites and you would show a profit. Not necessarily the case anymore.

I went back and did the last three years, here are the results:

'07-08 -- Dogs went 14-18 overall, pre new years day 10-11, nyd 4-7

'06-'07 - Dogs went 17-15 overall, pnyd 11-10, nyd 6-5

'05 - '06 Dogs went 17-9-2 overall, pnyd 12-6-2, nyd 5-3

for three years dogs 48-42-2 ats or 52%

bet agaist last years money line dog winners

bet agaist last years money line dog winners

the angle is to bet against last years ml dog winners, especially if they are dogs again this year.I bet against them dog or fav.Occassionally two ml dog winners from last year are matched up agaist each other, like this years ECU/Kentucky game,so no advantage there.first one up to bet against is fresno st,who surprised Gatech last year, playing colo st.on the same day,dec 20th you have the arizona/byu matchup.Byu covered as a ml dog last year so i'm playing Arizona.North Carolina is the play vs West virginia,a ml dog winner from last year on the 27th.You won't get to play all the games this way,but you will hit over 53% so you'll win money if you stick to this angle and be able to discipline yourself to not play the rest of the games.GL

Forgot aiu is a go against that first week, playing CMU against them.Cmu covered as a dog last year but didn't win outright.Theonly one bucking the trend early it seems is oregon is a popular early choice vs okie state, but theres a lot of time left.It doesn't work exclusively(all the time)just most of the time.Good luck

Arizona got 58% coverings ATS this season
and BYU only 27% so it's another angle to play Arizona
