Since every total has gone up and with these numbers from last week, doesn't it seem like the perfect time to pound the unders??

in years past I would slate play the unders and feel real good about ending up plus units.

doesn't matter if it was a half unit or 3 or 4 + units. The idea is the numbers eventually catchup with each other.

and with totals they do..or at least used to

but after seeing the offenses for all the teams in week #1[DIRECTV the only way to see every play for every game.] along with the rule changes these last few years it appears to me that the NFL will finally get their wish...better than 60% of the teams have a "Greatest Show on Turf" combined with weaker Defenses throughout the league.

there is a reason Dogs cover and it isn't their Defense..it's because they manage to score.

review my sides and totals results and you will see that 2 other games should have gone over the total as well had it not been for shell-shock from the Colts "O" and the closing line squeezing out an UNDER 44' BETWEEN Philly/St.Lou

The Redskins scored 28 and the 49ers scored 33..two sad sack franchises with no direction in the last 10 years.

just a guess but a guess based on many many years of keeping records and following changes based on what comes about when the wants of the fans fall right in line with what the Leagues can accommodate.

MLB wasn't about to stop the steriods and runs scored as long as the fans showed up in record numbers.

Food for thought.

Rule changes..better athletes want to play "O" not "D" ..and probably the best talent assembled throughout the NFL at the QB position since the Class of 1983

best of luck whatever you do.

I will post the results based on closing lines all season long..Including the playoffs.

Did anyone play defense last week? Was it all a set up? I am playing a couple of overs, but in teasers. Almost every QB looked like Sammy Baugh last week. I think the NFL wants to see scoring. Was like watching basketball last week. No lead was safe. Pretty boring actually. I would expect the scoring to continue.

for the Gazzilion fans of Fantasy Football, which along with gambling now drives the NFL Bus,scoring is what is all about.

Not boring to those invested in the two driving factors of the sport.

There is a reason Soccer and Hockey are little sister sports in the USA.

They are perceived as boring by the vast majority in the USA who spend money to watch and support these 2 sports who have never had mass appeal in this country.

Why are the boring..lack of scoring..

Not sure that I can agree with hockey being boring IF YOU HAVE MONEY ON IT. Every time the puck is in your end or there is a shot on goal is a big play.

Too much scoring will make it lkike baseball when everyone was hitting 60 and 70 home runs a year. It comes to a point, like in basketball, where a score is no big deal.

Just my opinion. Thanks for the summary.

defenses will start to play better now that they have 2 full games under there belt. I think one more week of games and you will see more games going Under the total than Over the total
