I would have to say this has by far been the best Great Eight set of games ever. . . no question for obvious reasons when three of the four go to OT. Hopefully the Final Four and championship game are just as exciting

seriously, although I would love to see a Illinois vs. UNC matchup...Mich St VS Illinois looks like the GAME I would think would have the most drama, and intensity, as both teams line up real well with eachother and it would be a damn dream to see if Mich St's ala postseason revamped guards against Illinois tandem

YES its been the best tourney I have ever experienced. Although I have a feeling Illinois AND UNC will blow out their opponent in the final four.

UNC vs Illinois, the matchup everyone wants! HUGE RATINGS!

Yes, I'd say it's been the best. I'd find it hard to believe the Final Four could be as exciting as it's been thus far though...probably will be a bit of a letdown.

The Illinois-Arizona game was an instant classic for sure. One of the greatest comebacks ever.

Been great from a $$ standpoint too. These teams are all so even...just take the points!

It has been awesome for certain, easily the greatest event in sport.

But for overall drama, it was in the early 80's when in the opening round, 4 or 5 games had incredible finishes, all finishing within 10 minutes of each other, it seemed.

US Reed made a mid-court shot to win for Arkansas, and Danny Ainge went coast-to-coast on a layup to win for BYU, and memory escapes me as for the specific examples, but there were numerous buzzer beaters and heartbreakers, sort of putting the tourney on the map.

The regional final games in 2005 are hard to top, though the year Christian Laettner had two buzzer beaters in OT thriller v UK was one of many classics that year.

I just hope the high level of quality games can continue for the last three games, as last year produced two nail-biters in the semis, leading to anticlimactic rout in the Final.

found a cool site with brackets filled out since 1985 ... this link should go to 1992 and you can skip from there ... I was at the 92s in Boise, check out the teams---unreal, Shaq, Alonzo, the general and a heisman trophy winner all in opening round--couldnt have asked for more! My bro and his pal got their pics taken with Bill Walton, i passed, tho Bill is still my fave player ever in CBB! :)
