If the powers that be at MadJacks take exception to the mention of the following sites then by all means delete the non-sponsoring ones.

If I were to bet off shore for horses I would only use Pinnacle, they offer alot of tracks and give a nice rebate. If you an exotic player your best to keep your money in the US based outfits beacause the vast majority of off shore placs limit the payout on exotics to 300-1, would be pretty pissed if I hit a $2000 trifecta and only got $300 for it, know what I mean. However if your a big bettor in the win place or show pools and play a smaller track where a large wager may change the odds of the horse in question, then by all means place that bet through Pinnacle as they do not co-mingle with the tracks pool, unless they deem in necssary, which I imagine is not too often.

I bet thoroughbreds extensivly and since certain tracks, mostly the Magna owned tracks have deals with certain places it seems you can't wager on every track with one account so I use all of the following which are legal US based outifts:

http://www.youbet.com
http://www.brisbet.com
http://www.tsnbet.com
http://www.xpressbet.com

I think Bris and TSN are still offering a bet $100, get $100 deal, though that may be off the table by now, I'm not sure, and they also still take Paypal as long as your not using a credit card, they do take credit cards over the phone at all accounts.

Reguardless of which US based outfit you use you will have to fax them an authorization form for a credit card even if you don't plan to deposit that way, they need a signature on file in case you hit a wager that gets reported to the IRS, at the track you probably call those "signers" which is the drawback of playing on-line, you have to sign your own tickets, no choice. I don't mind that so much because I sign my own tickets anyway. All the sites offer audio/video of the races and Bris and TSN give you free replays of previous races, pretty nice thing to use in your handicapping.

If you need an other advice feel free to get my e-mail from Jack and be sure to put MadJacks in the subject line.

Good Luck
