He has no idea. Just obviously dislikes hunters. So starts a thread to belittle and ridicule.

One of the guys makes a bunch of jerky, another guy took some to give to an older guy he knew who can't hunt anymore. Mine go into the jerky pile, and I'm not sure how the other guys fix theirs, but they all get eaten. I actually think some of the guys were gonna have 3 of them mounted.
Why don't you just say "Freeze them and eat them later."? I was making a wisecrack about the amount, but I was seriously asking the question. Lighten the hell up. Jesus is probably pissed about your attitude.
Are you saying geese don't migrate from Canada into Maine or that there is no hunting season for them. :shrug:
We have plenty of Geese, never seen anyone hunt them or talk about eatting them.
Not against hunting, just seems odd to see the amount killed in one hunt, thats all.
Buddy of mine used to hunt ducks and give em all away. I received one and cooked it like a chicken.. BIG MISTAKE.. These birds have to be marinated for a while and then they can be good.
Most duck hunters that I KNOW hunt these birds just to kill em. Not many eat em.. They give em away.
This year hasn't been as good as last year. One hunt we had last year, we had 8 guys out there. We got all the decoys set up, and 2 guys drove the trucks and trailers about 150 yards away to get them out of site, and we had 10 geese on the ground before they walked back. I think we got 24 (daily limit of 3) that day in about an hour. Two of the guys I hunt with are very good callers, so that helps alot.
We got 6 more this afternoon, which is the last day of the season.
There is no shortage of geese at least not up here.. It is weird hearing about geese hunting in January being from way up North.. I guess the geese will be making their way back up here shortly.
Lots of people that love to eat ducks and geese. DTB who posts here at madjacks loves to eat waterfowl or really any wild game. I have another former coworker who calls me every year wanting them, and most Chinese restaurant proprieters love to get them as well. I think they aren't very good.

Anything I kill is ingested by a human; it's just not always me that eats it. Wayne lights up like a Christmas tree anytime I take him wild game. My friend Birdie hugs me til I bruise and lathers me with kisses, lol, when I give her wild game! I also didn't say I wouldn't eat it; I just like lots of other things better. I gave Wayne my turkey last year (I think) and he enjoyed it much more than I would have, and wild turkey tastes pretty good! I sadly have not even waterfowl hunting in I think 5 years now. I also only kill a deer if one of my friends hits me up/begs me for one. Live and let kill!
