Everybody knows how in the NBA when Denver plays at home the second half scoring significantly decreases due to the altitude. I was wondering if anybody knows if it is relevant in college basketball also...

Noticed Kansas playing at COLORADO tonight.

I dont know th e numbers but I would guess that It would. Plying ball in higher elevation you lose your energy fast. Not just Colo schools, BYU,Nevada, there are a lot of schools in that boat with high elevations. I know when i played ball in Provo i couldnt go an entire gaem. thus the depper teams do better out there

It seems to make sense the scoring would drop.

Tried to do some sloppy research but its difficult to find boxscores and then having to guess what the totals were is virtually impossible.

ah well
