Buehrle has been historically very bad vs the Yankees. That's why they did not schedule him to pitch in the last series.

Apparently he has been pretty good vs Baltimore and why he is scheduled to start his season there. It has nothing to do with how they see his place in the rotation, which really doesn't count for much anyway, once the season starts and things get all jumbled up.

I won't be playing this game, since I'm off to Vermont for a week. See y'all after next week.

"What happens in Vermont stays in Vermont.

Except nothing ever really happens."

Sometimes it's nice to be in a place where nothing ever really happens. :)

P.S. Castro and Osuna will not be available tonite.

"You definitely won?t see them (Friday), that?s for sure," manager John Gibbons said of 20-year-old wunderkinds Castro and Osuna. "It?s usually common sense, if they pitch back-to-back days you?ve got to give them at least one (day off). Ideally you stay away from them for two, but the game will dictate that some.

"It?s so early in the season, they?re strong, but you?re conscious of it. A lot of guys get abused in this game, we never do that. But it sure is tempting."
