The SAG awards were on tonight and these were the winners:

Actor - Daniel Day Lewis
Actress - Renee Zellwegger
Supporting Actor - Christopher Walken
Supporting Actress - Catherine-Zeta Jones

A lot of books still have the odds open. In fact Intertops has Walken and Zellwegger at 6 to 1 each. By tomorrow when someone realizes the error their odds will be about even money each and I believe they will win - especially Walken who won the BAFTA also. I'm guessing the interactives at wsex will be about 35-40 on Zellwegger and 38-43 on Walken. That being the case you can buy them at Intertops or Bet On Sports or whoever has them still open and then short them at WSEX.

Free money!!!!!! :p

If i am reading this right your saying it's over and books have it open to bet. Not to be harsh that is no different then being a theif not calling you one but i think it is wrong imo to try to pull it but that is just me and i am sure it would be a ng and you could be kicked out. so if i read it right i myself think that is like trying to steal , or looting when something goes wrong hey lets grab a few tv's and stuff because there is a riot going on, it is just not right in my eyes. you win fair and lose fair and if you get ripped off there are fair ways to try and get it taken care of on these forms and by people who do know people off shore but if you try to rip one off and then you get screwed down the line don't think many would be willing to help or even hear your case.

nothing against you but i think its dead wrong if i read post right.

Myron.....If you're saying that books still had lines for the SAG awards after it was over then ditto what Fletcher just said. Always a lot of people thinking they can screw the books over when an error is made which is wrong. You've been around long enough to know that I hope.

After rereading it, I think what you meant to say is these books still have lines up for the academy awards?? I never pay much attention to this stuff from a betting standpoint, but I guess there might be some good value there for the academy awards if the SAG awards are any indication. I believe the academy awards are in about 2 weeks.

That is what he means. SAG win means a Oscar win is more likely. Most books took the odds down due to this connection.

thanks , that makes it more clear . I knew something was wrong because he has been around along time and is not that type of person it caught me off guard and did not fit the person who posted it to say go take a shot at a bad line. But i see now what you he was saying now to bad i did not last night,i am not a movie betting guy but if that is the case we missed one hell of a tip or at least had the odds shifted towards us. Next time givining a tip to some of us less the movie type people let us know its a tip i would of laid some if i knew reason behind the madness:D

Oscars are the 23 rd or 24 th of March. After two many b-ball games and :drinky: a couple of Sundays back, I wagered on Chicago as best picture (-350) the night of the Grammy Awards. What the fawk was I thinking  No more props like that for me, waitin' for MADNESS!
