Quick get away to New Orleans....

Thinking of going mid February looking at the Monteleone, Pavillion and Roosevelt hotels so far, anyone stayed at these hotels or have any suggestions on hotels and restaurants....

stayed at Monteleone...one of the oldest in NO, very nice but rooms kinda small but you won't be spending much time in it anyway:shrug:

conveniently located walking distance to anything in the Quarter ... enjoy one of the most fun, best eating and historical cities in US:0074

I am sure Cie, Lawtchan or other natives can give you better info

Hilton Riverside is very nice and have the best charbroiled oysters you ever had.

A short walk to the FQ.

i liked NOLA emeril's restaurant

good food
great service
a little pricey, paying for the name
but you won't be disappointed.

Royal Sonesta is in the FQ. Not sure about price, but is good place to stay from my experience. several excellent restaurants are within walking distance.
