I was hardly being a 'snitch', as the PDA scam happened right here (started and driven by Lslip) and the inept $7500 blackmail attempt happened in another gambling forum(also started and driven by Lslip).
Normally of course, I would never have brought them up(as there is tons of stuff about tons of posters here that are even more 'interesting' that will never see the light of day) , but every morning when I logged on, there were another 2 or 3 threads either started or contributed to by Lslip calling somebody a scam artist, before said person even completed the bet, let alone the fact that Lslip jumped in to make the bet under the existing parameters (ie..no timeframe).
Whatever you think of BTJ, he was definitely in the right in this case. No question. It had nothing to do with Lslip, but he wanted to play. But then, he wanted to start setting his own rules. At some point it must have gotten annoying to me. You know the feeling?
I sure hope that you don't, as policy, defend scamming con-artist, rat thieves as vigorously as you have here. Maybe this was just an exception because I was involved?

'Two of a Kind'? Oh my, I was a bit embarrassed (as I should be) about my affinity for 90210, but I feel better now. Those twins are going to end up pretty hot, but I have to say that back in their Full House days, they came off as being mildly retarded(not much has changed, really). Whatever the case, shouldn't they be legal before long?

Your flat out wrong. Kosar's post may be one of the most substanitive, important, and and helpful posts that has been posted in this 'general forum' since you flooded this place with thousands and thousands of garbage porn, stupid tricks, blather, and flatout useless knowledge etc....
This is a gambling site man. Not a "look at me, Im felonious monk, I need attention forum"...., which is clearly what you spent over 6 months trying to make out of it.
I've met Kosar, partied with Kosar, argued with Kosar, and had half day bullshit sessions over the phone with Kosar and let me tell you, he is not the "unhappy person" you and Neemer like to accuse him of being. He has simply realized through years of reading these boards, that the a good number of posters are ****ing idiots like SLIP, and he gets a good deal of pleasure by exposing them, screwing with them, or simply becoming an obstacle to their selfish, egotistic, or idiotic motives.
If you cannot see the value in his post your either blinded by your hate for him, or your just a flat out moron.
Also, its not that all your posts suck or anything, its just that you personally annoy me....
I for one enjoy reading posts about gambling theory, systems, approaches, sportsbook troubles and successes, player successes and failures, money management approaches, contrarian handicapping approaches, scams, steam, wiseguys, book operations, and anything related to sports.....but with every additional member like you added to these forums, these posts get deluted, lost, dissappear, etc....
So in short, I'll take Kosar's posts about extortionists operating in our midst over your posts about porn anyday....

There is certainly nothing wrong with Kosar posting what he did. He has a right to inform people of something like this, and that's fine. But, I think Monk was merely pointing out that it always seems to get done with a "Ta-Dah!" twist.
This whole thing spun out of beantown's legacy. Let's face it.......whenever you saw a thread started by beannie, you knew pretty much what it would contain. People learned to associate jim with bullshit. The two went hand in hand. I think Monk's point revolved around his thinking that when you see Kosar's moniker, you can be relitively certain that it will contain cut and paste quotes from others threads, used in a derisive manner, in an attempt to say, "BUSTED!"
Now, if that is the kind of thread that you have gained a name for, some might overlook the fact that you picked a winner in a ball game. Christ, I was happy as hell when I saw Kosar found a cyber home in the outdoorsie section that was set up a few weeks back. (I never did know why it went away:shrug: ) The guy actually seemed happy! What's wrong with that?

I think that you'd be hard-pressed to find more than 3 or 4 out of all my posts on all boards that I post at that were cut and paste jobs designed to say, 'busted'. 2 were fairly recent here, so maybe that's why they stick in your head. But i'm pretty confident that I don't have 'a reputation for making those types of posts'.
As for the rest of your post, some is correct and some isn't. It's true that this isn't exactly a posting persona, I do believe in everything I write. However, anybody that knows me can attest to the fact that I laugh more in a day than any 10 random people combined.
Although I can see where people (that don't know me) would think otherwise, 90% of time when I post in threads like this I am seriously laughing my ass off. And that's not just a throwaway LMAO! I actually have little or no ass by the end of the thread!

Neemer's exactly right. Who in the world would Spiro go to, to file charges? These books deal with scams (smaller and bigger than slips) every day. There is nowhere to turn to other than your in-house diligence.
