If there are any New Orleans peeps out there...

A co-worker was just down there this weekend. She bought a certain voodoo doll she wanted, and then left it in the cab on the way to the airport. She said she bought it at Voodoo Mart on Canal....

Does anyone know if they ship from there.....or, does anyone know how to contact them? I looked all over the web and couldn't find a phone number for them?

Any help would be appreciated! :0074

Yes, thanks....but there was one specific to that store. She pulled up a few of those that you mentioned in the link--but wanted a certain one that she found in that particular joint. I don't know what the difference is?!

I thought it might be worth throwing it on here and see if any of the jackers had some words of wisdom..

Cie or LA Burns will be your best options and I would be surprised if they could name one particular store since there are so many ... Canal St is the MAIN drag downtown ... but Cie knows it like the back of his hand :0074

Email me. I'll look into it and, if needed, will buy at store next time I am in the area and will ship to you.

Yep, Cie, that's the place....! She said it's a couple blocks from the casino, right around the Chartres/Canal intersection.

Any idea how to get a hold of that place??

Thanks again for your help!

I know a 'little' about real voodoo, and it's some nasty, pure evil! I wouldn't mess with it would be my advice. I have been in 3 Bokor (witch doctor/vodou priest) houses, and if you could see what I did, your skin would be crawling like mine was then and is as I'm writing this. I just can't describe the aura of evil. The Vodou practitioners also play these drums all night, make altars, sacrifice animals, carry around bags of bones, wear amulets, chant and other things.

I have been cursed/hexed more than a few times too. I think my God is stronger, but it is scary stuff whatever your beliefs are. I am totally creeped out thinking about it.
