quick question for chool help...

I have a paper to do in my human sexuality class. I need to find a peer review journal of a topic to do the paper on. I decided I'd do my paper on prostate cancer since there are alot of areas I can go into details about it. I dont understand this whole peer-review thing. (this is my first semester of college after 2 years out of high school playing hockey). If anyone could help me understand this concept or do a search of a few of them for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I found one that I think is a peer-review, but I really don't know.

Yes, tpaine, your link is to a peer review journal, which would be fine. Basically, a peer review journal is an academic journal in which articles have to be sent to a few other members of the same field of study to be reviewed. This is to keep people from submitting garbage that other members of the field would find laughable. Hope this helps.

Oh, and you can go this site to find lots of medical articles that would fit your bill. www.pubmedcentral.com

apparently, the article I posted isn't a "true" peer review according to my professor but rather just updates.
