#5 Dissension (4-1) hits hard at the $32k level and I like the rider switch to Prat. She won a downhill sprint at this level last May and can move up 2nd off the shelf.
#4 Doodetta (3-1) rallied for the place vs. $40k foes at this distance Feb 15. Belvoir does fine work with horses making their second start under his care and barn $$ rider Bejarano sticks.
#2 Q' Viva (7-2) and #3 Intoxicating Move (7-2) are both solid contenders. The former was nabbed out of her last by O'Neill and the latter landed in the top three in 7 of 11 downhill tries.
#9 Silver Mojave (8-1) is 1-for-19 but has been competitive with Q' Viva on more than one occasion and can be used underneath.

Last year, American Pharoah gave Zayat Stables the biggest thrill by winning the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup. Now, they try to keep the magic rolling, but on a smaller scale. Their Giant Storm will try to break his maiden at Gulfstream on Wednesday. He'll compete in the 11th race in a field of 12 maiden claimers for a tag of $25,000 and going 7 1/2 furlongs on the grass. Giant Storm will break from post 1 and is the 5-2 morning line favorite. The three year old son of Lemon Drop Kid is trained by Bill Mott, one the country's top trainers who has had lots of success with grass horses, and will be ridden by Javier Castellano, who had a very good week last week with his Tampa Bay Derby score with Destin. Giant Storm is obviously not the sharpest tool in the Zayat shed, after all he hasn't had a top three finish in his three lifetime starts with his best finish being a 4th at Gulfstream Park West on October 21st, but that was a turf sprint. In his last start, he was 9th on January 6th. But despite these finishes, he has shown speed in his works. He posted a good work on Sunday, breezing 3 furlongs in 37.18, but his best work was on January 25th when he breezed four furlongs in 47 and , which was the 2nd fastest for that distance that day. The inside will benefit him so he'll be able to save ground on both turns and not be carried wide. If he wins, we could see him on the Kentucky Derby undercard.

That 65 fig this gelding recorded in his last event tells me he's a main player this time out. Connelly enters this animal in a spot where he should fit well based on his last two speed figures. HUNDREDS - Trainer Kobiskie moves this one down the class ladder to face a less competitive field. Look for a solid race with this class drop. Have to give this colt a chance. Ran a good race in the last race within the last month.
