This election hinged moreso on hispanic vote than black vote--given blacks will vote 90% dem in any election and as Matt pointed out getting them to polls is prob-- even with increase and rate prob closer to 95% this year--the nail in the coffin for mac was hispanic vote. GW carried 44% and Mac only pulled bout 30%.

Here is what you get as result-- This state is still waiting outcome in a practically dead heat--and had you been able to see this post election snap shot --which way would you have wagered.

explaination--

You want to throw out % which is true indicator but go with population which is totally irrelevent but makes your point.

so rather than point that out thought it better to use your own example (per population to show you how silly that is.

eg
---there more than 150 Klan chapters with 5,000-8,000 members nationwide

--there are 40.9 million blacks

therefore using your parameters (population)

I can say over 40 million more blacks voted along racial lines than the Klan.

Silly? no diff than you saying more whites did than blacks--using population as your target indicator

I was only throwing % out for the purpose of the election numbers, not making any kind of statement about the races.

Lots of complaining that blacks voted based on race, but the actual whole numbers would probably show that more white people voted based on race.
