not sure here, but believe i am in for another long season- hopwefully i'm wrong. but poor blocking, no true running game, missed tacles and poor coverage = bad season. we will see...

still think we can beat the bill$.

oak -3,

ps. if stuart schweigert isn't ready too start then he must be terrible. because ray buch is a travesty at safety. he never had philip buch back once. give up the big play, ray is a pitiful tackler and does not appear to be able to read the qb very well for a veteran. i can promise schweigert would be no worse. would be better against the run immediately, and would be better against the pass as the season progress. :cursin:

gw, pass rush. that's an ironic ques. because last week i saw a pass rush maybe twice. oh, we rushed the qb - it just didn't work to well. that being said, the def should be better at home. the steelers were in 3rd and short all day and the raiders are not good against the run to the outside. ted cannot move laterally and tyler brayton's speed is no good when teams run at him -he can't fight off a block. even worse is that our 9 million dollar man was the only tackler out of 11 on the field. seriously, cw may be overrated and overpayed, but he is the teams' best tackler at this point and that is sad. hopefully oak gets a couple of lb's back this week and we improve our tackling. gl this week.
