Brock Osweiler will start Saturday's Wild Card game against the Raiders.
Tom Savage is still in the concussion protocol and was always a long shot to play in Saturday's playoff opener. Osweiler has been a monster bust in his first year with Houston and struggled in relief of Savage last week (21-of-40, 253 yards, one touchdown).
With Osweiler getting the nod for Houston and Oakland turning to third-string quarterback Connor Cook..points might be at a premium.
