I don't know if you like documentaries but there is one called Austin to Boston that chronicles the 7 VW bus tour of 4 or 5 bands that played SxSW in Austin and go on a road trip. The musicians Ben Howard, The Staves, The Bear Den, and another guy who's name escapes me at the moment play a soulful indie rock folk type music in the genre of the O Brother Where Art Thou style.

An excellent movie. Even if you're not a fan of that style of music, you'll like this movie.

"the bunker"
heads up for a fantastic oldie(1971) that not many include on their "best movie" lists(it`s on mine)...

the original, british version of "get carter" with a younger Michael caine....amazing cinematography(depicting a stark and depressingly dingy, dreary lower class Newcastle, england) with caine as a british gangster on a mission to avenge his murdered brother(and abused niece) at the hands of other british underworld types......

and you can`t do much better than a young britt ekland getting off on some phone sex...

talk about a perfect rainy day movie....great stuff...

my brothers !....3 days of the condor was also fantastic...I`d also add(to a lesser extent) "the parallax view".....

caine line when the 3/4-way attractive boardinghose woman shows him his room...he nods at the bed and says,"ii`ll bet that `s seen some action"......:142smilie
