The weather has been RIDICULOUS.....72-80 no clouds last 10 days.
Normal highs are 60 this time of year.
Brought my bicycle this year, vowed to stay in better shape than the poundage I gained last year.
I am actually digging up dead tree roots and re-filling the artificial grass gaps...I MUST be bored.
Before I forget, a big shout out to Doc Feelgood on his BIG Royal Flush hit at the Red Rock last week....:00hour
If you get a chance, the Kodo drummers group is on their US tour.
Took my wife to see them Thursday at the Smith Philharmonic Center....really something different...Dragons, Lions, synchronized Japanese Taiko drums. Very entertaining cultural experience.
There is a new Pizza Rock open at the GVR, (Green Valley Ranch) I am told.
Of all the Station property casinos, the best by far buffets are
Red Rock and GVR....I have tried a few other Station properties, and if it wasn't for the freshly cooked to order Angus burgers, I would have left hungry.
What's entertaining for us is people watching at the buffets...this morning we were at Main Street Champagne Brunch $10.99.
Really good carving station with one of the best briskets in town, excellent fried chicken, comfort food galore. One of the best budget buffets in town. The Boyd group rightfully prides them selves
on their buffet offerings ....I call it "Win Their Hearts, Feed Them Good, TAKE their money.
The Hawaiian Girls college Volleyball team was in line with their short shorts on, Yowza! what a show....
Topping the viewing, my wife pointed out a 6 foot 4 Black Tranny in Tight Red Jeans, high crocodile leather heels, wearing a sequined Red Rolls Royce Jacket with gold leather cap covering long blond curls and sun glasses. The table companion looked like Little Richard.....
There was a big group from Minnesota...snow white legs in ugly plaid shorts with long black dress socks is a dead giveaway.
Gotta Love Vegas.......
now, if I can only get a Royal? Have had 5 so far at deuces wild, with a deuce wild card, locals call it a "Dirty Royal" pays $31.25 on quarter machine.
