I would take calvin johnson, andre johnson, hell even TO, before i would take Moss...Calvin Johnson puts up same numbers in moss's situation last year...plus johnson has been doing it all year playing with the LIONS for christ sake!!!!

huh? I love people who go off hypotheticals.. If so and so was there hed do this. Like they know for a fact. Fact is Calvin Johnson hasn't done anything to be mentioned in the same breathe as Randy.

Let me elaborate because you seem to just dont want to hear anything.

Randy undoubtably is one of the top NFL receivers of all time. top 3 if not number 1. But Calvin, objectively, has the talent - the speed, the size, the hands, the character, the intelligence - to be up there. He isn't a Keyshawn or a Warrick or a Mike Johnson or Ocho Cinco or another one of the many WRs that have come through and sucked or been just above average. he is legit. You don't seem to want to acknowledge that at all. Which makes your argument lose ground.

You asked who the most feared WR in the Nfl is today. I stick with Calvin. TODAY. Not in 1998. Not last year.

I never said Calvin wasn't talented. Im from Ga. Ive seen Calvin a lot.. I've known of him for a while. Just curious who you have as #2 of all time at wr? If you think DB's fear Calvin over Randy.. then good for you.

randy moss is a quitter. give it a little more time. last night was garbage at best. the broncs def is among the leagues worst. their secondary cannot tackle, nor tackle. even champ is overrated at this point.

moss is a douche bag and where was he against miami a few weeks ago ? where was he against SD last sun night ? sure he is talented, but the most feared rec is a joke and it is a week to week thing.

andre johnson is a beast.

the best rec in the league may just be the quiet, insane, great Larry Fitzgerald. wish he was a Raider.:toast:

Fitzgerald is great.Hard to pick 1 receiver as best of all time. The thing with Moss now is they key on him all game.We really dont have a great #2 go to reciever .

Watch Arizona play. They key on Fitz. all the time.
Problem is they have Boldwin, and Preston as go recievers,so aventually Fitz . gets his fair share of catches regardless.

Plus losing Brady is a loss for Moss also.Thats a no brainer. As far as comparing Johnson to Moss??:142smilie .This comparison is more like it.

Moss is a quitter.. sure he quit in Oakland, but he was great in Minny and NE. Its comical you call him out in a 1 or 2 games in 20+ span with New England. Im sure every wr goes off every game

There won't be another wr as talented as Moss for a very long time. Sure Fitz and Calvin are good.. but those guys will be lucky to put half the numbers Randy put up once their careers over.

I would call welker a good #2, even tho he works out of the slot.

sure he quit in oaky - he gets a pass for this ? why ? why is a spoiled athelete allowed to quit on his teammates , but it is ok because he played on a bad team ? there were several plays he did not show up for in oaky and i saw most of them. sure his numbers were great w/ brady. brady is as good as any qb in the league, probably peyton is the only qb better. how many average rec did brady get it done with ? obviously moss would have a career year with brady baring injuries. look at the afc east last year - not exactly a killer schedule. not to mention the pats were trying to run up the score in every game they could. look, moss is as talented as i have ever watched, but greatest ever is a stretch at best. there are too many great players before him and there will be plenty after he retires. look at tim brown, no where near the talent of moss, yet put great numbers with a host of different qb's. let's see how good moss finishes this year when it becomes apparent that NE will be at home during the playoffs.....

He is good because of Moss. Do you want to look at Wes's career before Randy?

04 he had zero receptions in 14 games
05 29 receptions
06 67 receptions
07 112 receptions

Thanks Randy :mj07:

Yeah,in a way.
Hes good for yardage, but his size hurts him.
Brady made him a scoring machine last year.

Speaking of Brady, thinks looking complicated with his operation.Hope things go well with his infection in his knee.

I Remember a game I went to when Welker was with Miami.Had a monster game that Miami won.

To say Welker was nothing til Moss came here is just wrong. But then again Elvis stated that NE will miss-out on play-off this year.

Thats a stretch,if it does happen it would be cause of injuries.

Marshall plane crash
In 1997, Randy Moss was quoted, in a Sports Illustrated article as saying the 1970 Marshall plane crash "was a tragedy, but it really wasn't nothing big."[22] Moss claimed that the quote was taken out of context.
