York is a solid player no question...but I hate to see a guy like Rem Murray going. Great on face-offs and PK...hasn;t had a great year but is still a solid 3rd line centre. Good riddance to Poti although it would not surprise me to see him develop under the tutelage of Leetch.

Glen Sather is an idiot. Why don't we trade the best of our young players away?! I mean, I just don't understand it. The Rangers always blow big money away living in the present, instead of taking time to rebuild their team. They haven't made the playoffs since 1997, and it wouldn't be half bad if they had taken the time since then to rebuild and bring up youth. But instead, they just do like they always do, go and waste young raw talent that needs to be developed for overpaid has-beens who will create 0 chemistry on the team and provide little but their big egos.

So essentially over the last two days the Rangers have acquired Bure, Poti, and Murray and only given up York. I'd say thats a pretty damn good deal for them.
