Don't make many hockey plays, but I follow the Rangers pretty closely, mainly because they are my team, but I hope this doesn't come off as being too biased. I mainly see at this as a strong situational play for a team that I have a pretty good pulse on.
This is one of the best teams in the East and will be right there at or near the top when the playoffs begin. They certainly aren't as bad as they've shown, especially Lundqviist, who's been the victim of some bad breaks and goals off of rebounds in his first two. Tortorella knows how to get this team up for a big game, and believe me, he will be hyping it as such to his players after a loss in their home opener and an opportunity for payback after a bad loss to the Bruins in their season opener. Also, Torts is still working out the kinks with his front line combos of Nash, Gaborik, Richards, Callahan, Hagelin and Stepan. He'll find the right combination tonight. Bottom line, this team is too talented to start 0-3 and I expect a close win against a good Boston squad tonight at the Garden.
