Anyone got thoughts here? I'm very tempted to lay a little bit on the Devils. They are getting a nice price and they won't lay down in this game. They'd love to be the reason the Rangers don't make it to the playoffs.

I took the value on the over.Last 5 games they have played each other they have all been unders.I game hit 5 goals.Rangers have to win in regulation so if Devils are up the will have to play wide open (more scoring chances for both teams.
Also if behind may pull goalie earlier ,no tomorrow for the rangers..

No play as of now for me.....you might have something with NJ here. Nice price and they've won two in a row vs NYR. Torn right now though...still watch'n some numbers which could have me go either way. Right now...no play. GL P!!

Could have a BIG play on Boston.......numbers look'n good!!! Still bout 45 min to go. Will post if anything.

I'd play NJ for small.....don't think they go down without a fight. +1.5 goals would be even better.

Rangers won`t lose today at that price -186 at my book.

Buy my poor Rangers will get bad news around 9:30 that they will not make the playoffs.

They just lost at home as -214 fav's....just say'n. :shrug:

I hear ya.....Different day and game....

Up to -190 currently.

They win today.....Like i said,it wont matter but for only 9 hours until the Canes beat the Lightning tonight.

But what does the word value mean????

I see that word used a lot in the forums.

The Devils are 37-38 and nothing to play for....The Rangers are in a must win game.


Explain value to me if you can....I`m actually being serious.:toast:

The way I'm using it is.....

Devils may have nothing to play for in standings, but Brodeur won't just give in...nor will his team. It's not like these two teams have good feelings towards one another. I know that the Rangers have a sense of urgency to win....but they also did the other night against the Thrashers, and looked bad. To me....at a price near +170, I see good value at taking the Devils. Obviously the Devils have played better in the 2nd half of the season so they are a little better than their record indicates.

Just my opinion.

Also....last meeting at New York back in Feb Devils were +128 and won! Now...getting nearly +170. I can see some value there.....
