Where it is real F ing COLD
1. Green Bay.. Have to go with the defending champs here.. They have everyone healthy, an experienced offensive line and probably the most balanced team between offense, defense, and special teams.

2. Philadelphia.. Lots of moves in the off season, pass defense should be improved. Only knock on em is that they rely on the big play too much.

3, New Orleans.. They have a legitimate work horse running back and have bolstered the defense. These guys may knock the shit out of a few teams.

4. Atlanta.. Offense should be very good, but I question their ability to play defense. They dished out a lot of money on Edwards lets see if he produces.

5. Detroit.. They are trendy but have a wonderful defensive line and Stafford when healthy is a stud. They will be hard to stop on offense.. 3 negatives I see. Lack of running game, pass blocking, and secondary. If they shore some of that up then watch out.

6. NY Giants.. Experience and Maybe I should rank them higher a head of Detroit but I don't know what it is but the Giants just seem to lack something. They should of finished much better than they did last year. Secondary is a problem at times and now they just got banged up.

7.St. Louis Rams.. Bradford is the real deal and he should spread the ball around. Defense is improving and they could win 10 - 11 games this year. Running maybe a problem with Jackson getting older and taken a pounding.

8. Tampa Bay. Josh Freeman is up and coming but sometimes QBs have sophomore jinx. I don't think they will surprise teams like last year and have a tougher schedule. Can Williams and Blount continue to be the play makers they were last year?

9. Chicago Bears.. Cutler is going to be running for his life and they lack playmakers at the receiver position. Roy Williams looks like sludge, maybe they can figure out more ways to get the ball to Hester in the open field. The defense is aging and they could have a miserable year.

10. Minnesota. The offensive line and secondary are major concerns., Need to have Barrian return to form at WR. They have talent but I look for them to struggle.

11. Arizona. They could be a surprise team depending on Kolb, but they do not run the ball effectively and the defense is awful.

12. Dallas... Major defensive issues but they should be able to score, but I expect Romo not to make it through cause he is going to get crushed at some point.

13. Washington.. The Qbs look good in pre season but it is pre season. They need to get help in the running game but they lack any explosion and the defense is just OK. If they get a running game and steady QB play then they can surprise

14. San Fran.. I pick them ahead of Seattle and Carolina cause they have more on offense with Davis, Gore, Crabtree and Edwards. When will they let the Smith experience die?

15. Seattle. Tavaris Jackson is BRUTAL, enough said they will be OK defensively but they don't do anything well on offense.

16. Carolina.. Cam Newton, enough said. A rookie who could dominate college ball but will have a tough time in the pros. What was Carolina thinking??

I have never liked Stafford as I feel he took the money and will run with it.

If they have a negative of pass blocking , that does not bode well for Stafford not getting thrown on his head and shoulders again.

I have been looking at their first game with Tampa Bay.

It will take a good defense to beat them early.

Love big things from Detroit this year.Stafford was able to watch n learn more from the sideline last year after injury. This will be a HUGE yr for him, defense should give them more opportunities. An aggresive offense will make for a better defense.Detroit scores TD"s then the D line will be able to tee off on QB.I just think Det will be very solid.

They Beat Tampa IMO. Tampa was second to last in sacks last year. I look for them to exploit Tampas week D. Detroit will bottle up Tampa's running game and force them to pass

My comments

I will never say the Packers are a balanced team, they had a hell of a run without running game, but they are not balanced and they are not a power machine so far, they will have problems in the division just to start, they are not in the same level as the Saint or the Falcons.

The eagles are hype all over the place, Vick is just a 2 dimensional player, go deep or run baby, he needs to work more on his QB skills, he has been developing, no doubt, but just need the final push to be a complete, he need to remember Steve Young, stop rushing and looking deep, be a smarter QB and you will be just fine.

For god sake, Detroit number 5, you are just pointing that they have negative things, all fundamental football things, running game, pass blocking and cover the pass, you are in a league that running game is underated because the teams want to pass a lot, so is a total contradiction, as long as the Lions have potential they are not better than de Giants, Bears and Dallas for sure, some kind of same animal with Minny, StL and Arizona, Tampa has some x factor but they do not show NOW something better than the Lions.

Same comments about the Rams, potential maybe, but they are pro no college kids, is like the Raiders always have big athletes and potential, but they are just a team full of promises and no facts, yet!

somewhere over the rainbow
Division winners:

East- Eagles, obviously if Vick goes down im concerned since I dont see Vince Young being able to lead the team. They have all the offensive weapons in place, McCoy will have a huge year in my opinion and they added Ronnie Brown who will be a nice complimentary back. At WR I think they have question marks. Jackson is not happy and reported late, Maclin is not at full strength along with the acquired Steve Smith they both reported late to camp as well. Smith was on pace for a huge year last year with the Giants but suffered an injury in week 9 and then again in week 14 when he tried to return, if he can return to old form then he could have a big year. The defense should see an improvement from last season with the addition of Asomugha to the secondary however they do have a new defensive coordinator who was there O-line coach from last year so stay tuned to see how that pans out.

North-Packers, You have to like the defending champs to win the division this year. The core of the team is still together and they get Jermichael Finley back at TE and Ryan Grant back at RB. This is one of the deepest teams on offense that I have seen in a long time and QB Rodgers has that never lose attitude. Defensively they shouldnt miss a beat either, Capers is an aggrevssive play caller and has the playmakers to turn the game around if they need to.

South-This is the most interesting division in my opinion. Ill take the Falcons to win the division. This division may very well came down to the second to last game of the season when the Falcons visit the Saints and if it does I wont be surprised to see the Saints walk away with the division crown. Roddy White is an animal at WR and should see less double coverages if Julio Jones emerges as most thing he will. The schedule bodes well for Atlanta hosting Philly, Tennessee, Minnesota and Jacksonville as there non conference matchups which are all winnable games.

West-Who cares? Ill take the Rams. They have the best QB in the division and arguabley the best defense in the division. Would love to see the 49ers make some noise out west but new head coach and 4 of there 8 road games are east coast trips and the final 2 games of the season are at Seattle and at St Louis so Ill stay away from them this year.

Sleeper of the NFC-Redskins:scared They were 6-10 last year and were terrible defensively so they must make improvements on that side of the ball. They should go with Grossman at QB as he has chemistry with Moss and more importantly O-coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Torain and Hightower make up a pretty good backfield and Cooley has another good year or two in him if healthy. Out of division road games include St louis, Carolina, Buffalo, Miami and Seattle which all seem winnable. 9-7 or 10-6 is not out of reach for this team and they may just land them a wild card in the NFC.

Have to use iPhone, laptop issues.

1. The Packers are the most balanced team in the NFC period! I hpoe they get the shit kicked out of em but I call it as I see it. Their offensive line is a cohesive unit for the most part this year. Starks has emerged as a threat running the ball and they get #25 back this year. Add Finley at te down the seam and the pack will be much better team running. Add the fact that they are solid defensively everywhere and special teams are above average. Kysas you think they will struggle in the division? You don't think highly of Detroit, Minnesota sucks and trust me Chicago is an 8-8 squad this year. You have Atlanta a head of them? Green bay kicked the piss out of em last year and they had 15 guys on IR. Atlanta's pass d was in the lower third last year and they didnt do much to improve it. Ray Edwards is ok, but that is it.
I do agree that New Orleans has a good shot I will admit.

Detroit is better than Chico IMO cause Detroit might have trouble with protection but Chicago is much worse plus they lack the big play Detroit has, detroits d is younger and Chico is aging. Plus you can take a ton of special teams out of it with new kick off rule, limits Hester. Chicago was 10-6 last year. Swept Detroit on a gift and minny with a split with the Pack, not happening this year. Chicago takes a step back

2. Philly I agree that Vick may struggle this year but you guys don't think they will make big plays. Too much offensive talent around him plus that defense is going to be tough tough tough especially if teams are forced to pass.

3. I love what new Orleans has done and I am hoping like he'll they beat the pack.

4. I may have under rated the Giants true. Manning throws too many picks and I really question that defense.

5. I like Detroit cause think Stafford if if if healthy is a top 3 NFC qb but the lack of running game and secondary does concern me

Tampa was the flukiest team last year, they rank like 17th and 18th in every category last year, second to last in sacks, they better hope teams continue to fumble and throw pick 6s,

Kysas. Did you say the cowboys are better than Detroit. Wow!!

Hey Purple!! Hope you had a good summer!! Think Eagles fall short of expectations this year and Detroit turns some heads. Yes, secondary may be weak, but that D front will give them lot's of help! Should be an interesting season.

I hope my Cowboys play well this season and love having Ryan coach the D. Yes, Romo needs to stay healthy, but O-line will be better than many think. Middle of season is pretty easy schedule...but who the heck knows. I have leaned not to get my hopes up!

What yah think of McNabb running your O??

Looking forward to winning some $$ this year!!
