This is another of those games that cap way under. Keep in mind that Vegas don't make mistakes very often. Four days in a row we have now had games that capped 10 to 15 points off. Their record is 2-1 under. If you watched the Sac game last night you saw what they had to do to make that game go over. No reason for the foul, the game was already decided, no reason for the un-contested lay-up. Maybe Marbury just wanted to pad his stats. If I play this one, which I probably won't, I would play the over. Good luck tonight.

The Raptors/Mavs total has dropped from 207 to 205 at Pinnacle already. I'm not sure if Vince Carter is playing or not, but that could be a reason why the total is dropping.

Also, I'm sure many got burned on Sunday betting the Heat/Raptors over. And I know that many had to lose betting the Mavs/Lakers over last game. It's also the 3rd game in 4 days for Toronto. They played at Boston on the 12th, then flew home to Toronto for an early Sunday game against the Heat.

They could be a little tired, and their defense probably won't be at its best tonight, especially in the 2nd half.

The Mavs have gone under their last 2 games, but those were road games. I can easily see the Mavs putting up 115 points tonight. They've had 2 days rest since beating the Lakers @ LA. Now it's a homecoming party against the Raptors (possibly without Carter). So the Raptors just need to score 90 points if the Mavs come up with 115.

No reason for this game to be slow-paced. I think their defense will fade in the 2nd half, and Dallas will try to run up the score at home. Should be a lot of junk time and street ball at the end of this one.

I'm not touching the game (maybe 2nd half). Still not sure if Carter is playing or not, but my lean is to the OVER 205.

I would look at the 1st Q and 1st half over in the Mavs game. Like the Kings game last night, it's a high total. I could see there being a lot of scoring, especially since the Mavs like to come out and run early and often. They tend to taper off in the 2nd half kind of like the Kings and Suns did last night in the 4th quarter. If not for a last second layup, the game stays under.

I have a spreadsheet that I use to help me figure out the number of possession's a team has per game. I use this tool to help me with total's. Before the trade Tor average possession's were about 90 per game , after the trade the averaged 94 per game. Before the trade they averaged .93 points per possession, and after the trade they averaged 1.09 ppoints per possession. On defense beofre the trade they averaged about 90 possession's per game and now they are giving up close to 95 possession's per game. Before the trade tor gave up .95 points per possessoin and now it is close to 1.03 per game.

They are running the ball and letting other teams score. Dallas will do the same.

Dallas ave almost 100 possession's per game, the score 1.01 points per possession. On def they allow teams to 98 possession's per game, and teams score .99 points per possession.

I see a game with 200 plus possesions per game so I would have to lean towards the over. The game should be very fast paced. Good Luck

I think the first half over would be a very good bet.

Covers has Carter listed as probable I believe. I think Finley is doubtful for Dallas though. Does Jamison start in his place?

Jamison should be starting imo but Nelly will most probably start Josh Howard. Even when Dirk was out for a few game's...Jamison didnt start.

Howard can play, it has been very nice to watch him this year. imo they don't give to much up with him in the starting line up.

Thanks for the info guys. I like the over in the 1st quarter regardless. Gonna hit it for 2 units at 52.5. Mavs score very well on 2 days of rest averaging nearly 114 ppg. Also 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS. This game sorta reminds me of the Suns-Kings from last night. Have a gut feeling we see some heavy scoring early. Hit the 1st Q over last night a lot harder than this one, but I still like it alot.

Good luck tonight guys. Lets make some money at the half, too. :D

F...king Dallas. 8 points over the last 6 minutes of the 2nd Q. What a bunch of bitches. Sorry that the 1st half didn't hit ussrv. At least I hit the 1st Q over pretty easily. Might do a lil' something with the 2nd half.
