I know for a fact that matt was almost bipolar with the team and was wrong for firing a longtime secretary and for not retaining anyone from the gutheridge staff. nonetheless you must agree that dean smith never endorsed him for the job and did not give him the support a true family member gives to another. i personally think that caused matt to feel the pressure more than he should.lastly, you know the players from each team have great respect for each other and often socialize or play pickups games together in off season.it seems it is we fans who despise the other and that's the way it has always been.good luck the rest of the year, too bad wake doesn't have to visit unc and i expect unc to beat duke next time by double digits.
