youre right. lots of ways to get extra money. having also been around it myself- have seen excessive room/board payments given to guys. if they live off campus and rent is say 200 bucks a person, theyll get checks for 500 or 600 bucks that are "supposed" to pay rent. of course 200 goes to that, but the excess money is theirs to spend.

Agree 100%. While no one on my team ever got checks like that for rent, we benefitted on a lower scale. After meets did the coach really need to give each of us 30 bucks for dinner? Obviously not, especially when we'd eat at Wendy's.

Just feel that stuff like this happens all over the place, in all sports, so Duke isn't any different than the rest.

A lot of great info by everyone. UCONN is my team, and I'd like to see them win it all, but I just have a feeling that coach K gets too many calls, therfore making it tough to cap this game.

I have watched all of Dukes games in this tourny and I was discusted at some of the calls that Duke got.

There is soo much talent on both of these teams, so just let them play the game without any favourable calls.
