The investigation is a joint effort by the RCMP, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and the Canadian Border Services Agency, and included assistance from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations. It also included input from police forces around the Greater Toronto Area, as well as the Ontario Provincial Police.

Hoosier country
I'm thinking "ChrryBlstr" might have been setup.......:SIB

LOL

The majority already have them tried, convicted and want them hung! What happened to due process?

Also, perhaps with a little more understanding, some would realize that not all middle eastern "terrorists" are linked to Al-Qaeda. Just sayin'....

"Al-Qaeda - a militant Salafist Islamic movement - preaches a radical anti-Shia ideology that places it firmly at odds with Shia Iran."

RCMP = morons

Peace! :)

well deserved indeed....

i`m wondering why al qaeda would want to mess with canada...the canadians bend over backwards to be accommodating...

i`m guessing celine dion?

Better yet, perhaps do some research and find out the history of the country and learn why Iran is called Iran, and why they mainly speak Farsi instead of Arabic and why they tend to define themselves differently, unlike those others in the region.

Peace! :)

i`m just very thankful that some of our canadian beaver buddies are busy knawing away at those that would do them harm in lieu of wringing their hands....and possibly saved lives in nyc in the process...

again,well done,canucks !!...

btw...i guess as well read as you are(/////)....,you noticed that young tsarnaev is copping to the crime based on jihad......

i hope that sated your conspiracy appetite...

Hmmmmmmmmm....being unconvinced positions me as a conspiracy theorist? Interesting stereotyping.

Would you then position me more as a Glen Beck clone or a Jesse Ventura follower? Or perhaps someone completely different that I'm not familiar with?

Peace! :)

U.S. eyes charging Canadians a visitors fee

U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials are floating the idea of charging Canadian visitors a fee to visit America.

In its 2014 budget the department asks for a feasibility study on enacting the fee. It would only apply to vehicles and pedestrians entering the U.S. at land crossings.

The money would be used to bolster security spending, but it's not clear how much would be charged.

Canada's snowbird association issued a press release Monday slamming the idea.

"While we appreciate the fiscal challenges faced by our friends in the United States we would prefer the U.S. government focus on ways to reduce obstacles at the border that hinder trade and tourism," association executive director Michael MacKenzie said.

According to Statistics Canada, Canadians take more than 20 million trips to the U.S. each year.
