An announcement is expected this afternoon, I doubt they would bother with a press conference to tell us the season is still dead. I know many (see above) thought the cancellation announcement was the end of it, but we may actually get this to die one way or the other in the next few hours.

Rumor has it that a press conference is being held at 6:00 EST, this is according to TSN. I am getting conflicting "Rumors" as to the validity of the press conference and as to it's content. I also see ESPN is reporting Betteman was not involved in todays talks. I hate to think ESPN would publish unfounded rumors, but I find that very hard to believe.

Lots of rumors still flying around, I have to say that IF a press confrence takes place I doubt it would be to say that the season is still cancelled, they would have to have something new to say or just fade into oblivian, right?
