Real, can't fake the smell. Plus, I thought it was kind of a tradition to put the lights and ornaments on together with the family. If you keep the same one year after year, do you take the lights and ornaments off?

2 real ones every year. Love the smell and dump in the woods afterwards. Have a pile from the years way back and a family of rabbits live under them.

Ditto for the tree farmers.

Real hard core atheist you must be. Sharing presents under a fake tree on Jesus' holiday

No need to go halfsies, bro

:mj07:

Have used real for a while now as I got tired of lugging that heavy fake son of bitch to the attic each year so I put it to the curb. Gone

Always real. Christmas trees grown in the US vs. plastic trees made in China.

The smell is a must, the experience is a must (ok I don't cut it down myself, but go to converted parking lot to pick it out.) Tradition.

I read somewhere that you have to use a fake tree 10+ times in order for it to be more ecological than a real tree.
