third game in four days I've been opposite ATL with the game in hand... not sure why some of these managers are able to stay in MLB.

basically, COLLINS is a moron. In last night's game, he leaves GEE in to close the game, granted, GEE was pitching great, only 3 hits, no runs, but PARNELL had only pitched one inning in five days, when the METS used him Sunday vs the CUBS while down 3-0. WELL, as we all know, MARMOL made him a winner in that game, as METS scored 4 in bottom of ninth....:shrug:
Today, after a very long 8th inning, an inning where HARVEY came up with 2 outs and two on, COLLINS decides to let him bat, :nono: and he strikes out. Why not PH there and go to closer??? After that, he was obviously going to send Harvey out for the ninth. He walks the first guy on 4 pitches, and then gives up two singles to load the bases before being replaced. Fricking stupid.... I know HARVEY has been hard luck, he wasn't at 100 pitches yet, but come on, let him bat with two men on when you have a rested closer?!?!?! :facepalm:
METS didn't help, missing a couple of possible plays on the ball, but the METS were very lucky NOT to lose this game due to the stupidity of COLLINS.
YES, I was on the METS and the UNDER 7, so it cost me a win.... but I'll take a win/push every game!! :0074

Yeah I don't understand letting pitcher hit in the late innings with RISP and then pulling him next inning. Oh well a win is a win

Yep... they had gone ahead 4-0, he was throwing a 1 hitter, under 100 PC, but my bigger point was he used the SAME strategy like 14 hours earlier only to lose on a walk off HR. He left in the SP to try and get the complete game shutout, and it failed. Rested closer, get the win, no brainer.... PINCH HIT.
