Red Dog: Movie Review

[Hashish]

I just watched this flick, and it leaped to the top of my list for best 2011 films. If you like to smile, then you must watch this movie. I don't know if I've ever watched a movie that's this happy. There are a few sad moments, but this may be one of the the best family-friendly movies you can show your kids. The acting by the dog that portrays Red Dog is amazing. Puts every other dog performance to shame. Great soundtrack, too. Highly, highly recommended.

"World's fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins is also a great flick. No animal acting tho. Only one Indian.

What do you mean, the accent is annoying or what? The main human character who owns Red Dog is American. Many of the characters in the film are foreigners to Australian as it is set in a mining town. Watch it with your grandkids sometime. I guarantee they will like it.

The quality is usually poor as it was in the trailer but I'll give it a shot on a snow day. :0008
