Man, I am not into this at all. If you're a Sox fan please chime in and tell me your thoughts.

I know it's the cool thing to do this year and he is one of the best ever, but this is Boston and NY. WTF?

I could never see Pittsburgh standing for the Steelers "honoring" Ray Lewis during last season. As great as he was, we would never tolerate it.

I'm sure some will say this is the Boston organization taking the high road, but FAIL IMO.

Actually, I take it back. You wouldn't have the decency to kill yourself after hurting others. You would continue to be the burden on society that you are now.

He's a total loser that is probably unemployed, on welfare, overweight, criminal record, and lives in his parents basement.

Born in Brooklyn. Yankee fan since I knew what baseball was. I thought it was a helluva gesture on Boston's part given that the Yanks are such a rival. Rivera is a class act and a true champion. I give kudos to the Bosox, which is one of the best run organizations in all of sport:toast:
