Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek will sit out tonight's game, and possibly Sunday's as well, with a sore thigh. Chris Osgood will start in his place and Jmmy Howard, recalled from Grand Rapids, will be the back-up.
Chris Chelios will also miss the game due to a sore groin. Coach Mike Babcock said neither injury is significant.
Brett Lebda, who missed practice Thursday because of the flu, will play tonight.
