Testicle wager:
The Twins swept the Tigers in their first series of the season and have captured 34 of the last 42 meetings between the two teams. Detroit's last win over Minnesota came on May 5, 2002, a 7-6 victory at the Metrodome.
The Tigers will send Jeremy Bonderman to the hill today with the hopes of getting the 20-year-old righthander the first win of his career. Bonderman has been rocked in his two starts this season, allowing 11 runs on 13 hits over six innings. He is 0-2 with an outrageous 15.63 ERA.
After allowing six runs and nine hits over four innings in an 8-1 loss to the Twins on April 2, Bonderman was torched for five runs and four hits over just 2 1/3 innings in a 9-6 loss to Kansas City on April 9.
