Roster could be a little short-handed tomorrow...





-- The Cincinnati Reds made seven roster moves Saturday after the Montreal Expos swept a doubleheader.

Right-hander Josias Manzanillo and left-hander Jimmy Anderson were designated for assignment, meaning Cincinnati has 10 days to trade them, release them or send them outright to the minor leagues.

Infielder Brandon Larson was optioned to Triple-A Louisville, and right-handers Chris Reitsma and Jeff Austin were recalled. The Reds purchased the contracts of right-hander Brian Reith and infielder Ryan Freel from Louisville.

Reitsma, Austin and Reith are expected to join the team Tuesday in Cincinnati.

These guys suck w/their full rosters. They might actually be worse than Detroit and I didn't think it was possible. I am going to have to look seriously about betting against them for the next week or so, w/the way they played against expos and cubs!

Yea this pitching staff should be taken out back and shot one by one. They can actually hit the ball probably at about the league average, but these guys have the pitching staff of a Double A team. And that is no exageration. Graves need to be back in the bullpen, Dempster cant find the strike zone, Haynes is hurt, Pete Walker was OK for a start or 2 but is back to his normal shitty self...and the bullpen cant get a break b/c they are pitching like 5 innings a game.

Its gonna be a long year for the Reds
